Harry Kane will be out for another slice of Premier League goalscoring history when Tottenham Hotspur welcome Norwich City to North London on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be out to make Premier League history when his side welcome Norwich City to North London on Sunday.

The England captain has failed to hit his usual heights in the 2021-22 top-flight season and has registered just one goal in 12 league games so far.

However, Kane has developed a fondness for playing against Norwich, scoring five goals in his three Premier League appearances against the club that he spent the first half of the 2012-13 campaign with.

The 28-year-old scored a penalty in each of those three games, and another successful spot kick would see him become the first player in Premier League history to score a penalty four times in a row against a single opponent.

Despite his uncharacteristic lack of goals in the Premier League this term, manager Antonio Conte has leapt to the defence of Kane, whose solitary league strike this term came in October's win at Newcastle United.

Tottenham have risen to sixth in the table ahead of the visit of the 19th-placed Canaries - one point adrift of Arsenal having played one game fewer.
