Saturday's MLS predictions including New York Red Bulls vs. New England

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's MLS fixtures, including New York Red Bulls vs. New England Revolution.

Seattle vs. Earthquakes (Saturday, 10.00pm)

The Seattle Sounders will try to avoid their first losing streak of the season when they host the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday from Lumen Field.

The Rave Green fell 3-1 to Sporting Kansas City last weekend, while San Jose have drawn four consecutive matches following a 1-1 tie last Saturday versus the Houston Dynamo.

We say: Seattle Sounders 1-1 San Jose Earthquakes

The Sounders always seem to respond well following a defeat, but they have struggled to score goals lately, and they looked vulnerable defensively last weekend for the first time all season.

San Jose have been unlucky to not come away with a win over the past few weeks, but they have started to make great strides on the back end and on the road, while also earning points against some solid MLS sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

NY Red Bulls vs. New England (Saturday, 11.00pm)

The New York Red Bulls will renew their rivalry with the New England Revolution this weekend as they wrap up the month of July with a matinee affair at Red Bull Arena.

It will be a match up of two teams heading in the opposite direction, with New York winless in their last three encounters, while the Revs lead the Supporters' Shield standings and have won their last three matches.

We say: New York Red Bulls 2-1 New England Revolution

There is something about Red Bull Arena that seems to bring out the best in New York, who have won four of their last five fixtures at home, scoring seven goals while conceding only twice.

The Revs may be the best team in the league at the moment, but they have never won at Red Bull Arena, losing in six of their last seven visits there.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cincinnati vs. DC United (Sunday, 12.30am)

Looking to end a barren run of five games without a victory, FC Cincinnati welcome DC United to the TQL Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the visitors come into the contest aiming to record back-to-back league wins for the first time in over a month.

We say: FC Cincinnati 1-2 DC United

DC United have the edge ahead of the contest, as their history in this fixture should give them the belief that they can emerge victorious. Cincinnati have also struggled on home turf this term, so we cannot envisage any other outcome rather than an away win.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Inter Miami vs. Montreal (Sunday, 1.00am)

Having gone seven games without a victory, Inter Miami await the challenge of CF Montreal in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.

On the other hand, the away side are looking to return to winning ways after suffering consecutive defeats in their last two outings.

We say: Inter Miami 1-1 CF Montreal

Inter Miami will be looking to push on from Monday's draw by claiming all three points in this one, while the visitors have some soul-searching to do following their recent slump in form. We anticipate a nervy encounter, with both sides settling for a point apiece in the end.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Kansas vs. Dallas (Sunday, 1.30am)

Dallas will try to win consecutive matches for the first time this year when they travel to Children's Mercy Park on Saturday afternoon to take on Sporting Kansas City.

Dallas dominated the Los Angeles Galaxy last week, winning 4-0, while KC handed the Seattle Sounders just their second loss of the year, 3-1.

We say: Sporting Kansas City 2-0 Dallas

Incredibly, KC seem to have flown under the radar this year, perhaps due to the way Seattle started the season, but after last week KC showed that they are a team to watch out for, and now they will have the motivation of knowing that a win on Saturday could move them into first place in the Western Conference.

Dallas have struggled with consistency all year, and they have not figured out how to handle playing on the road, going scoreless in five of their seven defeats away from home this season while being outscored 15-2.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Houston vs. Salt Lake (Sunday, 1.30am)

Houston Dynamo will look to put an end to an eight-game winless run on Sunday, when they play host to Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer action.

A poor run of form has seen Tab Ramos's side drop to ninth spot in the Western Conference, allowing Real Salt Lake to leapfrog them and move into the playoff places.

We say: Houston Dynamo 0-2 Real Salt Lake

Given Houston Dynamo's long list of absentees and their poor run of form, we would not be surprised to see them fall to another defeat on Sunday.

On the contrary to their opponents, Real Salt Lake find themselves in a positive run of form, and they should have enough to see off a depleted Houston squad.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Austin vs. Colorado (Sunday, 2.00am)

Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff shouts at players during the match against Sporting Kansas City on May 9, 2021© Reuters

Austin FC will try to avoid equalling their longest losing streak in franchise history when they host the Colorado Rapids from Q2 Stadium on Saturday.

The newest expansion side in MLS are at the bottom of the Western Conference standings after losing 1-0 to the Seattle Sounders last week, while the Burgundy Boys suffered their worst defeat of the season last Saturday, falling 3-0 to Real Salt Lake.

We say: Austin FC 0-1 Colorado Rapids

Austin are tied with Inter Miami for the fewest goals scored this year (10), and although they are certainly capable of keeping a game close, they still lack that quality needed in the final third to gain an advantage.

Vancouver vs. Minnesota Utd (Sunday, 3.00am)

Vancouver Whitecaps head coach Marc Dos Santos on June 24, 2021© Reuters

Vancouver Whitecaps and Minnesota United will square off in Major League Soccer action on Sunday, as both sides look to build on positive recent runs of results.

Following an eight-game winless run, the hosts have now gone three league matches without a defeat, while their opponents have lost just one of their last 11 MLS outings.

We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 2-2 Minnesota United

With both sides coming in with a certain degree of confidence, this could certainly go either way, and we see them sharing the points.

While Minnesota find themselves in a longer run of good form, Vancouver Whitecaps could be hugely booted by their turnaround, and we expect them to make it four games without a defeat with a commendable result on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
