Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to hand a new long-term contract to Sami Khedira.
The German international is seen as a key player at the Bernabeu, but reports in recent months had linked him with a move to the Premier League.
Such speculation was ended when the 26-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in November, but it had been claimed that he was still seeking a move at the end of the season.
However, according to El Confidencial, Madrid want the defensive midfielder to extend his current deal from 2015 until 2018.
Khedira is expected to be fit for the World Cup next summer.
