Inter Milan were unable to make ground on Serie A's top teams as they drew 3-3 with mid-table Parma at the San Siro this evening.
It was the visitors who started the brighter when Nicola Sansone latched onto a through-ball and tucked his effort past Samir Handanovic into the bottom corner as Inter started slowly.

The hosts started to find their feet when Rodrigo Palacio rounded goalkeeper Antonio Mirante, but the Argentine was unable to score from a tight angle.
Walter Mazarri's men were level moments before the interval when Palacio manage to convert Fredy Guarin's cross.
However, they fell behind again in first-half stoppage time as Handanovic dropped the ball at the feet of Marco Parolo, who guided the ball home.

Palacio's second of the match brought Inter level when rose highest to nod home Ricardo Alvarez's cross.
They were in front 90 seconds later as Guarin's effort from the edge of the box took a deflection, which wrong-footed Mirante and nestled in the Parma net.

The Milanese side were unable to hold on to their lead as Sansone converted Mattia Cassani low cross to draw the visitors level.
Afriyie Acquah almost put Parma ahead late on, only to see his fierce effort tipped over by Handanovic, but the game finished in a draw.
The result means the Nerazzurri are now within four points of the Champions League places, while Parma climb into the top half of the table.
