Oliver Baumann is looking forward to the Champions League qualifying match against Schalke 04.

Freiburg goalkeeper Oliver Baumann has said that the final-day clash with Schalke 04 for a place in the Champions League will be "exciting".

Schalke are a point above Freiburg in the Bundesliga, with the winner guaranteed to finish in the final Champions League qualification spot.

"It's going to be exciting without a shadow of a doubt," Baumann told Bundesliga.com. "The script could hardly have been better.

"We all felt as though something had changed at our winter training camp in Andalusia last year. We all wanted Christian Streich to bring us together as a unit.

"Things started to improve, but there were also setbacks along the way. It was the same this year. When we were fifth going into the winter break, we all felt a lot was possible."

The match kicks off on Saturday at 2.30pm.
