Jose Mourinho unhappy with fixture schedule

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals that he is unhappy with the scheduling of the club's Premier League fixture with West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted he is unhappy that his side have had less rest than other clubs competing in the Champions League.

The Blues host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday while the other three teams play on Sunday, and Mourinho believes that the Premier League are "laughing" when they decide on the schedule at the start of the season.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "I feel that our match this weekend is very special because from every English team involved in European competitions, especially the ones involved in Champions League matches, we're the only team that plays on Saturday.

"Everybody has one more day to rest. We're the only team that plays Wednesday and Saturday. Others play Tuesday and Sunday. It's happening a lot with us. We had to play Arsenal when we did, and we have to play now.

"The people who decide the fixtures, I think they laugh. They know what they can do and laugh because I can do nothing."

Chelsea can move to within two points of Arsenal if they defeat the Baggies at Stamford Bridge.
