There is no place for Cesc Fabregas or David Villa in Barcelona's lineup, while there are no surprises for Celtic.

Cesc Fabregas has been left out of Barcelona's team to face Celtic at the Nou Camp this evening.

Instead, Tito Vilanova has opted for another centre-back in picking 21-year-old Marc Bartra alongside Javier Mascherano and Alex Song.

There is no place for David Villa in Barca's lineup either, as Lionel Messi, Pedro and Alexis Sanchez start in advanced positions.

Neil Lennon has gone for a 4-4-2 formation, with Giorgos Samaras and Gary Hooper leading the line for Celtic.

Scott Brown, Victor Wanyama, Joe Ledley and Charlie Mulgrew form a four-man midfield.

Barcelona: Valdes; Adriano, Mascherano, Bartra, Song, Jordi Alba; Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi; Alexis

Celtic: Forster; Lustig, Wilson, Ambrose, Izaguirre; Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Mulgrew; Samaras, Hooper
