A storming first-half performance from Widnes Vikings was enough to pave the way for a comfortable 48-12 victory over Sheffield Eagles in the Super League Qualifiers.
The home side were up and running with nine minutes on the clock when Kevin Brown found a way through, before truly finding their grove by adding five more tries in a little over 15 minutes.
Stefan Marsh was the next to touch down, crossing over twice in quick succession to maintain the first-half rout at the Select Security Stadium.
Charly Runciman and Joe Mellor also added their names to the scoresheet, as a dominant Widnes raced 30 points to the good.
There was something to cheer for the Eagles when Scott Turner pulled a try back, but normal service was resumed thanks to Mellor's second of the afternoon eight minutes after the restart.
Paddy Flynn piled on the misery when himself finding a way through, with hooker Keal Carlile's late try only slightly taking the gloss of the impressive win thanks to Runciman's second which helps take the Vikings to the top of the Qualifiers table.
