Everton saw their three-game winning run in the Premier League come to an end on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Swansea City.

The Toffees took the lead towards the end of the first half as Aaron Lennon provided a cool finish following James McCarthy's cross.

However, Swansea secured themselves a point with 20 minutes left thanks to a Jonjo Shelvey penalty after Seamus Coleman had handled in the area.

SWANSEA

Goal

Lukasz Fabianski: An impressive afternoon for the Pole, who dealt with most things that came his way. Was left exposed for Everton's goal and could do little to keep it out. (7/10)

Defence

Angel Rangel: Could have got forward more than he did. The Spaniard also struggled to contain the visitors out wide. (6/10)

Federico Fernandez: A robust showing at the back from the Argentine, who snuffed out a number of attacks. (7/10)

Ashley Williams: A typical display from the Swansea skipper as he led by example. However, he blotted his copybook in the second half with a poor challenge on McCarthy. (7/10)

Neil Taylor: Reliable enough at the back, though he was caught out on a couple of occasions by Everton's speedy wide men. (6/10)

Midfield

Jack Cork: A mixed performance from the youngster. He improved as the game went on, but that came after a disappointing first half in which he struggled to keep hold of the ball. (6/10)

Ki Sung-yueng: One of the Korean's more underwhelming games in recent times. Only showed what he is capable of in fits and starts. (6/10)

Jonjo Shelvey: As busy as ever in midfield. Kept running throughout and also kept his cool from the spot to earn his side a point. Never a dull moment with this boy. (7/10)

Gylfi Sigurdsson: Had one or two moments where he scared the Everton defence with his skill, but these were few and far between. Not the most effective afternoon for the Iceland international. (6/10)

Wayne Routledge: A dynamic display from the winger, who provided his side with plenty of attacking intent in the final third. (7/10)

Attack

Bafetimbi Gomis: Looked dangerous during the early stages before a hamstring strain forced him off with just 16 minutes played. His withdrawal had a negative effect on the Swans. (6/10)

Substitutes

Marvin Emnes: Was lively in attack after replacing Gomis, but he failed to offer Swansea the same kind of raw danger as the Frenchman. (6/10)

Nathan Dyer: Found it hard to make an impact during the final few minutes as both teams settled for a share of the spoils. (5/10)

Goal

Tim Howard: Was called into action a number of times and was up to the job of keeping Swansea out until their equaliser 20 minutes from time. (7/10)

Defence

Seamus Coleman: A decent performance was ruined when he inexplicably decided to handle to the ball in the build-up to Swansea's leveller from the penalty spot. (6/10)

Phil Jagielka: A strong 90 minutes at the back for Jagielka, who gave the Swansea attackers no quarter. (7/10)

John Stones: Looking more like an established centre-half each week. Another positive, mature display from the England international. (7/10)

Leighton Baines: Everton's formation meant that the left-back was not required to get forward as much as usual, though he still performed his defensive duties well. (7/10)

Midfield

Gareth Barry: A subdued game for the midfielder, who struggled to get involved for large periods of time. (6/10)

James McCarthy: Showed great energy in central areas and also made himself known higher up the pitch. Provided the cross for Lennon to put Everton ahead. (8/10)

Ross Barkley: Came to life in the second half following an indifferent opening 45 minutes. Still nowhere near the finished product, but he is still hugely important to Everton going forward. (6/10)

Aaron Lennon: His pace caused Swansea lots to think about, but he did not use it enough to really hurt them. Despite that, the winger took his goal well to put Everton in the lead. (7/10)

Leon Osman: Picked up a groin injury midway through the first half so did not have much time to put his mark on the encounter. (6/10)

Attack

Arouna Kone: Failed to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku. For all of his hard work, the striker never really looked like he was going to breach the Swansea defence. (6/10)

Substitutes

Steven Pienaar: Made a big impact on the visitors when he came off the bench midway through the first half. His energy and enthusiasm saw them take control of the match. (7/10)

Steven Naismith: Despite having 15 minutes to help Everton win the game, the Scot was unable to add anything to their options up front. (5/10)

Kevin Mirallas: Looked like he had a point to prove during the final stages and gave the away side a different dimension in attack. (6/10)
