Team News: Christian Eriksen drops to Tottenham Hotspur bench

Christian Eriksen is left out of Tottenham's starting lineup for their Premier League match against West Ham.

Christian Eriksen has been left out of Tottenham Hotspur's starting lineup for their Premier League match against West Ham United at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

The midfielder's absence is one of six changes to the side that drew with Fiorentina in the Europa League earlier this week, but Harry Kane returns up front.

Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce has made just one change to the side that were thrashed by West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup last weekend.

Winston Reid returns from injury to replace Kevin Nolan, allowing Cheikhou Kouyate to return to his midfield role after filling in at the back last time out.

Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Mason, Lamela, Dembele, Townsend, Kane
Subs: Vorm, Davies, Dazio, Stambouli, Chadli, Eriksen, Soldado

West Ham: Adrian, Jenkinson, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell, Song, Noble, Kouyate, Downing, Sakho, Valencia
Subs: Jaaskelainen, Demel, O'Brien, Collins, Nolan, Jarvis, Cole
