Eric Dier: 'Tottenham Hotspur keen to bounce back'

Eric Dier admits that Tottenham Hotspur are "extremely disappointed" to be without a win heading into Saturday's meeting with Everton.

Eric Dier has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are desperate to kickstart their season when they host Everton on Saturday.

Spurs have not managed to record a win in any of the first three Premier League games and lost leads on the way to draws against Stoke City and Leicester City in the last two weeks.

Everton are currently two points better off than Mauricio Pochettino's side, but Dier is hopeful that Spurs will find their best form at White Hart Lane.

"Everton have been really good so far this season so it'll be a tough game, but obviously we're determined to take the points ourselves," the 21-year-old told the club's website.

"We're extremely disappointed with how it's gone in terms of our results so far. We've obviously conceded after going ahead in the last two games but we're going to try our best not to let it happen again."

Dier spent time on loan at Everton's academy while he was a Sporting Lisbon player in 2011.
