Real Madrid put £19m price tag on Raphael Varane?

Real Madrid reportedly slap a £19m price tag on French defender Raphael Varane, as both Chelsea and Manchester United allegedly show interest.

Real Madrid are reportedly pricing French centre-back Raphael Varane at £19m after he failed to nail down a first-team place.

Chelsea and Manchester United are both allegedly interested in the defender, with Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to sign the youngster for the second time in the Portuguese's career.

Reports suggest that Carlo Ancelotti is willing to listen to offers of £19m and above when the transfer window opens in January, according to the Daily Express.

Mourinho has previously expressed his admiration for Varane, while also being linked with the defender earlier this summer.

However, the 21-year-old signed a new deal with Madrid in September, extending his stay at the Bernabeu to 2020.
