Jackson Martinez's strike sees Porto triumph

Jackson Martinez's 23rd goal of the season is enough for Porto, who beat Napoli 1-0 in the Europa League.

Porto will take a narrow lead to Napoli in the second leg of their Europa League tie after a 1-0 win at home this evening.

Jackson Martinez's 23rd goal of the season was enough for the Portuguese side, who survived a number of big chances from the visitors prior to the second-half goal.

The home side had goalkeeper Helton to thank when the stopper denied Gonzalo Higuain before Jose Callejon spurned a glorious chance in the second half.

Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina was also alert to deny Porto in the first half, although he could only watch as the Portuguese champions struck the post late on.

Goran Pandev went close in the final few minutes, but the substitute was denied by a clearance off the line from Maicon.
