Chris Hughton is unhappy with some of Mark Clattenburg's decisions during Norwich's defeat to West Ham United.

Chris Hughton has said that his side were treated harshly by Mark Clattenburg during their 2-1 loss to West Ham United earlier today.

The Hammers' first goal came from the penalty spot, and the second was scored while Alexander Tettey was on the ground with a head injury, while Norwich had two penalty appeals waved away.

The Canaries manager told Sky Sports News: "It's been very harsh on us with the decisions today. The major decisions went in West Ham's favour, and it's difficult to take that.

"We have been harshly treated. If you are going to give a penalty so early in the game, that's [Clattenburg's] prerogative, but when you also have two shouts for penalties, [it's tough to accept].

"I will accept that Ryan [Bennett] has got hold of [Winston] Reid's shirt, but it's not like he was pulling him away. If anything, Reid is impeding him. It was a little bit of each. That is my big argument."

The loss was Norwich's fourth consecutive defeat, leaving them 12th in the table.
