Manchester United and Chelsea will both reportedly attempt to sign Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric at the end of the season.
The Croatian initially struggled to settle at the Bernabeu after joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012, but has since become a certain starter.
A FIFA agent recently claimed that the midfielder's wife was unhappy in Madrid, however, which has led to speculation surrounding his future.
According to The Express, both Chelsea and Man United want to sign the 29-year-old, but Real Madrid will demand a figure in the region of £48m.
Modric is currently nursing a hamstring problem.
