Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all interested in signing Bayern Munich defender David Alaba this summer, according to a report.

Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly engaged in a three-way battle for Bayern Munich's David Alaba.

While primarily a left-back, Alaba has played a key role in the heart of Hansi Flick's defence this term, making 40 appearances across all competitions as Bayern bid to win the Champions League for the first time since 2013.

However, Alaba now has under a year left to run on his current deal with the Bundesliga champions, and the Austria international is understood to have turned down a new contract worth €15m (£13.5m) per year.

As a result, Sky Sports News claims Chelsea, City and United are all vying for the 28-year-old's signature this summer.

The report claims that Alaba will make a final decision on his future upon the completion of Bayern's Champions League campaign, with Flick's side set to take on Lyon in Wednesday's semi-final clash for a spot in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Barring one loan spell with Hoffenheim, Alaba has spent his entire professional career with Bayern, where he has amassed 31 goals from 384 appearances across all competitions since 2010.
