Tim Sherwood: 'We can beat Manchester United'

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood believes that his side are capable of taking all three points away from Old Trafford when they take on Manchester United.

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has declared that his side can beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in their Premier League clash.

The Villans have enjoyed an upsurge in form since the arrival of the 46-year-old that has pushed them out of the relegation zone.

Sherwood believes that his side have the ability to match the achievement of Swansea City and Southampton to take all three points away from Old Trafford this season.

He told reporters: "I think they are beatable, they have only lost two games at home all season, they have a terrific record at Old Trafford, but every team can beat anyone.

"It would be an upset - we believe we are capable of upsetting them."

Villa are 16th in the Premier League ahead of their clash with United, just three points clear of the relegation zone.
