Juan Mata has revealed that Andre Villas-Boas was "furious" after Chelsea drew with Manchester United on Sunday

The Blues led the game 3-0 before United clawed their way back to a 3-3 draw.

"The coach was furious after the match. And also the players, because in a match like this you'd never think we could waste a three-goal home advantage," Mata told The Sun.

"How many times will Chelsea be in with a chance to defeat United, winning 3-0 after 50 minutes?

"I never believed they could pull level. It was bad news for us and confirmed the race for fourth place will not be easy."

The draw leaves Chelsea fourth in the Premier League, 14 points off leaders Manchester City.
