Ben Amos "enjoying" new Manchester United regime

Young Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos says that he is happy working alongside new coach Chris Woods.

Manchester United's Ben Amos has revealed that he has enjoyed working under new goalkeeping coach Chris Woods.

The youngster had been under the tutelage of Eric Steele for five years, but the veteran coach departed Old Trafford earlier this summer following the appointment of David Moyes as manager.

Having worked with Woods for a couple of weeks now, Amos has insisted that it is going well.

"Steeley was great and he was a big personality around the place. Chris is a different style of coach and that's not to say he's any better or worse – he's just different, and that was always bound to be the case," he told the club's official website.

"He has different methods and different ways of working. Personally, I've really enjoyed the training. It's been tough but enjoyable at the same time. I can't wait for more of it."

Amos, 23, came through the ranks at United, having joined as a trainee in 2001.
