Report: Manchester City planning Kylian Mbappe move

Manchester City are reportedly planning to move for Kylian Mbappe if Paris Saint-Germain are found to have broken Financial Fair Play rules.

Manchester City have reportedly drawn up plans to move for Kylian Mbappe if Paris Saint-Germain are found to have broken Financial Fair Play rules.

The Ligue 1 giants are being investigated by UEFA after they paid Barcelona £198m for Neymar last summer and then tied up a loan deal with Monaco for Mbappe which will see them pay £167m this summer.

If PSG are found to have broken FFP regulations, they face being kicked out of the Champions League or hit with fines which could put pressure on them to cash in on their prized assets.

According to The Mirror, City would make the most of the opportunity by moving for Mbappe, turning their focus away from Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.

Mbappe has made 38 appearances for PSG this season, scoring 19 goals and registering 17 assists.
