Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will be playing golf with his son on Sunday instead of watching Manchester United's Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he will be playing golf with his son instead of watching Manchester United's Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion.

The Citizens, who beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 on Saturday, will be crowned champions if their bitter rivals lose to the struggling Baggies at Old Trafford.

If Man United beat West Brom, they must also avoid defeat at Bournemouth on Wednesday to prevent Man City from winning the title.

Guardiola's charges, meanwhile, face relegation-threatened Swansea City at the Etihad Stadium on April 22 and could seal the title on their own turf.

"The only score I want to know [on Sunday] is bogey or birdie," Guardiola told BBC Sport. "I think United will win. We depend on us.

"The important thing is to have the chance to win at home. I am delighted to have the chance to win in front of our people."

The league leaders hold a 16-point lead over second-placed Man United, who have six games to play compared to Man City's five.
