Bergessio has been heavily linked with a move to Rome during the transfer window, following a frustrating time at his current club.
"We are just missing the signature on the contract," Julio Tymczyszyn told reporters. "Will he go to Lazio? Yes."
It is believed that Bergessio will join the Biancocelesti on loan, with Ederson moving in the opposite direction.
