Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Boca Juniors.
Buffon - now 40 years of age - is coming to the end of his legendary stint with the Serie A giants with 651 appearances being made in all competitions.
However, according to Radio Continental, Boca are keen for the veteran to extend his playing career with a spell in South America.
The Argentine giants are attempting to win the Copa Libertadores for the first time since 2007, and the club feel that Buffon's ability and experience can help them end their long wait for a seventh crown.
Former Juventus forward Carlos Tevez - who plays for Boca - has allegedly been entrusted with trying to convince Buffon to play outside of Italy for the first time in his club career.
