Former Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has signed a one-year deal with Crystal Palace.
Hangeland was released by the Cottagers earlier in the summer after six years with the club, but the Norwegian turned down an offer from Hull City to pen a one-year deal at Selhurst Park.
The 33-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm absolutely delighted. All the things that I've heard about this club – the manager, the players, the staff – it's all been good things and I've seen that for myself this morning.
"I'm delighted to be here. I look forward to helping out and doing the best that I can for this club."
Hangeland made 31 appearances during his final season at Craven Cottage.
