Alexandre Pato agrees Chelsea move?

Alexandre Pato reportedly accepts Chelsea's contract offer, but the West Londoners are yet to reach a financial agreement with the striker's current club Corinthians.

Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato has reportedly agreed terms over a move to Chelsea.

The Corinthians frontman has been linked with a few Premier League clubs this month, including Liverpool and Newcastle United.

However, according to The Telegraph, it is the West Londoners that are the favourites to secure his services.

The report adds that Pato has accepted Chelsea's offer of a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge, but the two clubs are yet to reach a financial understanding.

It has been suggested that Corinthians want around £10m for the 26-year-old, while Chelsea favour a loan switch with a view to a permanent deal.

Pato, who made a name for himself in Europe during a five-year spell with AC Milan, has not played since November.
