Vagner Love makes AS Monaco switch

Ligue 1 side Monaco complete the signing of Corinthians centre-forward Vagner Love on an 18-month contract.

AS Monaco have confirmed the capture of former Brazil international Vagner Love.

The 31-year-old striker, who recently helped Corinthians to win the Campeonato Brasileiro title, has agreed an 18-month contract at the Stade Louis II.

"I'm very happy and very proud to be joining this great club, Monaco," he told the club's official website.

"Hopefully I can bring all my experience to the team to achieve the targets set by the management."

The Ligue 1 outfit are the second European club that Love has played for following two stints with CSKA Moscow.
