Paul Lambert believes Aston Villa can cause Chelsea problems

Paul Lambert is confident that his Aston Villa side can cause an upset when they face Chelsea on Saturday.

Paul Lambert has warned against writing off his Aston Villa side ahead of their game against Chelsea on Saturday.

Despite being considered underdogs to claim anything against the Premier League leaders this weekend, Lambert insists that he is confident of causing an upset at Villa Park.

"It's a game we are really looking forward to," the Scot told journalists. "We know we can hurt them.

"We've got a good record against the big teams and we know that if we can play to our full potential we can cause them problems.

"All the expectancy is on Chelsea but my lads know they can do it."

Villa were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea when the two sides met earlier in the season.
