Real Betis are reportedly interested in bringing Fernando Amorebieta back to Spain this month.
The versatile defender currently represents Fulham in the English Championship, but has plenty of Spanish experience having played for Athletic Bilbao between 2005 and 2013.
According to Marca, Fulham are prepared to let the 29-year-old depart Craven Cottage this month and it is Betis that lead the race.
Betis dropped out of La Liga last season, but they currently sit second in the Segunda Division and are among the favourites to return at the first time of asking.
