Preview: Barcelona vs. Ajax

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's Champions League group-stage clash between Barcelona and Ajax at Camp Nou.

Two European giants meet in Group H of the Champions League on Wednesday as Barcelona take on Ajax at Camp Nou.

The Spanish champions have started the season in dominant form, winning all four of their matches in La Liga as they look to clinch their fifth title in six years.

Ajax's defence of their Eredivisie crown has not been quite as smooth thanks to a defeat and two draws in their opening six games.

Incredibly, this will be the first time that these two legendary clubs have faced each other in a competitive match.

Jordi Alba misses out for the hosts with a hamstring injury, but captain Carles Puyol could feature following a knee operation. Summer signing Neymar is likely to make his debut in the competition.

Meanwhile, Dutch defender Joel Veltman is sidelined for Ajax with a knee problem.
