Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the arrival of Gregory van der Wiel from Ajax.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed at the weekend that transfer talks had taken place with the Dutch international.

Now, a short statement on the club's official website has confirmed that the 24-year-old is now a PSG player.

"Gregory van der Wiel, 24-years-old, an international player from Holland, has been transferred from Ajax by Paris Saint-Germain, for a duration of four years," read the statement.
