Preview: Schalke 04 vs. Montpellier

Sports Mole previews the Champions League meeting between Schalke 04 and Montpellier.

German hosts Schalke 04 will be without winger Jefferson Farfan for the Champions League visit of French champions Montpellier tomorrow night.

The Peru international is currently on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury that has kept him out of action over the past few days.

However, midfielder Jermaine Jones will be available for selection following his recovery from a muscular complaint.

Barcelona loanee Ibrahim Afellay is also expected to start in place of Swiss international Tranquillo Barnetta.

Champions League debutants Montpellier will be without former Portsmouth striker John Utaka through injury and as a result Souleymane Camara should start as a lone frontman in Germany.

These two sides have never met competitively before.
