Sassuolo remain in the Serie A bottom three having been held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari.

The hosts were ahead on 36 minutes when Simone Zaza was picked out inside the box, before firing an effort home via the crossbar.

Cagliari levelled one minute into the second half courtesy of Agim Ibraimi, who converted from the spot after Luca Antei brought down an opposition player in the box.

Both sides pushed for a winner, but it was not to be with the game finishing all square.
