Sunday's La Liga football predictions including Celta Vigo vs. Valencia

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Celta Vigo vs. Valencia.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Espanyol (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Two newly-promoted sides enjoying life back in the top flight will lock horns on Sunday afternoon as Rayo Vallecano host Espanyol.

Both teams head into this La Liga contest after scraping past fifth division outfits to progress into the second round of the Copa del Rey in midweek.

We say: Rayo Vallecano 2-2 Espanyol

Both Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol are expected to name their strongest possible sides for Sunday's encounter and the two teams will fancy their chances of claiming all three points.

Espanyol did the double over Los Franjirrojos last season, however they may have to settle for just a point this weekend, a result that both sides would seemingly be content with.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Elche vs. Cadiz (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Two La Liga teams battling at the wrong end of the table will face off on Sunday afternoon, as Elche welcome Cadiz to the Manuel Martinez Valero.

The hosts have only won one of their seven league matches on home soil so far this season, while the visitors have lost three of their last five on the road, conceding 12 goals in the process.

We say: Elche 1-1 Cadiz

Both Elche and Cadiz will view Sunday's fixture as a winnable game in their quest to move away from the relegation zone.

However, with little to separate these two struggling sides, a score draw could be on the cards at the Manuel Martinez Valero.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Levante vs. Osasuna (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Still seeking their first La Liga win of the campaign, basement club Levante welcome Osasuna to the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on Sunday evening.

Both teams enter this contest off the back of comfortable victories in the first round of the Copa del Rey against fifth division outfits.

We say: Levante 1-2 Osasuna

Levante are desperate to claim their first three points of the campaign and will view Sunday's fixture as a winnable game against another out-of-form top-flight team.

However, Osasuna seem to be the stronger of the two sides and may just do enough to edge this contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Celta Vigo vs. Valencia (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Valencia will be looking to win in La Liga for the first time since the end of October when they make the trip to Balaidos on Sunday night to face Celta Vigo.

The visitors are currently 11th in the table, having picked up 19 points from their first 15 matches of the season, while Celta occupy 13th, three points behind their opponents this weekend.

We say: Celta Vigo 2-2 Valencia

There has not actually been a draw between these two sides in the league since September 2018, but we are predicting the spoils to be shared here. Both teams are capable of scoring goals, and it would not be a surprise to see an entertaining 2-2 draw on Sunday evening.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
