Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven too strong for SBV Excelsior

PSV Eindhoven go three points clear at the top of the Eredivisie thanks to a 3-0 victory over SBV Excelsior at the Philips Stadion.

PSV Eindhoven have gone three points clear at the top of the Eredivisie thanks to a 3-0 victory over SBV Excelsior at the Philips Stadion.

The hosts were 2-0 up at the break thanks to goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half by Adam Maher and Luciano Narsingh.

They then made it three not long after half time through Jurgen Locadia before having to play the last half an hour with 10 men after Jeffrey Bruma's red card on the hour mark.

PSV are now three clear at the summit but could be joined by either Ajax or PEC Zwolle, who go head to head later this afternoon.
