Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could reportedly leave the club on loan to facilitate Jadon Sancho's return to the club from Manchester United.

Borussia Dortmund could reportedly let Jamie Bynoe-Gittens leave the club on loan in January in order to boost their chances of re-signing Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has now spent two months in exile from the Manchester United first team, having been banished from the group for effectively calling his manager Erik ten Hag a liar.

Ten Hag did not include Sancho in his squad for September's defeat to Arsenal; a decision which the Dutchman said was down to lacklustre displays from the winger in training.

However, Sancho responded with a bombshell social media statement claiming that Ten Hag's version of events was false, and he alleged that he had been made a "scapegoat" during his underwhelming time at Old Trafford.

There is seemingly no way back for the ex-Dortmund starlet at Old Trafford, as he is refusing to apologise to Ten Hag, who is also remaining stubborn in his stance and will not let Sancho back into the first-team facilities until he shows remorse.

Even if Sancho does say sorry to his head coach, too much time has apparently passed for any apology to make a difference, and all parties will try to engineer the Englishman's exit next year.

Dortmund and Juventus have been considered the two leading contenders for Sancho's services on a loan deal, but Saudi Arabia may be his only option for a permanent move given his extortionate wages.

According to 90min, Dortmund have an ace up their sleeve in the shape of Bynoe-Gittens, who they are prepared to loan out for the second half of the season to help facilitate Sancho's arrival.

Like Sancho, Bynoe-Gittens also spent time in the Manchester City youth academy before leaving on a free transfer for Dortmund in 2020, and the 19-year-old has already played 30 times for the first team, scoring three goals and setting up two more.

The England Under-21 international's progress was recognised with a new long-term contract until 2028 last month, but he has struggled for regular action so far this term, only starting two Bundesliga games so far.

Sancho and Bynoe-Gittens's off-field affairs are both taken care of by the same agency, Elite Project Group Ltd, which could see negotiations progress smoothly should the latter indeed leave the club temporarily.

A switch to England has not been ruled out amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, but the 2004-born winger is supposedly likely to stay in the Bundesliga, and he could be joined on the loan list by Youssoufa Moukoko, who is allegedly growing frustrated with his situation in Germany.

Moukoko ended speculation over his future in January by signing a new Dortmund deal, but the 18-year-old is yet to start a Bundesliga game this term and could seek out regular game time elsewhere for the second half of the campaign.

Prior to his switch to Manchester, Sancho had a direct involvement in 114 goals in 137 games for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 50 goals and setting up 64 more in 137 games for Edin Terzic's team.

However, the 23-year-old has just 12 goals and six assists to show from 82 matches in a Man United shirt and is open to leaving in January, but he may have to agree to a wage cut or have Man United pay a chunk of his wages to seal a loan exit.
