Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has returned from injury to take up a place in their starting XI for this evening's visit to West Bromwich Albion.

The Sky Blues captain has missed the last 10 matches through injury, but returns to their first team to partner Martin Demichelis at the back.

Saido Berahino has been handed a recall by the hosts, partnering Shane Long up front, while Claudio Yacob has been drafted into the midfield.

Costel Pantilimon continues in goal for City, with Joe Hart remaining benched.
