Saturday's Scottish Premiership predictions including Rangers vs. Hearts

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Scottish Premiership fixtures, including Rangers vs. Hearts.

Hibernian vs. Dundee (Saturday, 3.00pm)

It will be a Scottish Premiership mid-table clash on Saturday at Easter Road as eighth-placed Hibernian aim to close the gap between themselves and Dundee.

The visitors sit just two places above their opponents this weekend, and with a five-point cushion, there is an opportunity to put some real distance between them.

We say: Hibernian 0-2 Dundee

Hibernian boasts the home advantage, but their recent form has been below their usual standard, and that is why they head into this match as the underdogs.

The opposite is true for Dundee, and that could end up being the difference maker here as the Dark Blues are likely to take all three points.

Kilmarnock vs. Aberdeen (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Kilmarnock will look to continue their six-match undefeated streak on Saturday when they host Aberdeen.

The visitors sit seventh in the Scottish Premiership, but could slip as low as 10th if they are unable to pick up at least a point this weekend.

We say: Kilmarnock 2-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen have showcased a lot of attacking quality recently, and that should lead to them causing some problems for Kilmarnock this weekend.

However, Kilmarnock should end up being too strong for the Dons in this match, which they have already proven twice this season.

Rangers vs. Hearts (Saturday, 3.00pm)

The pick of the games this weekend in the Scottish Premiership sees Rangers welcome Hearts to Ibrox in a clash between the two most in-form sides in the division.

Rangers were handed a huge boost in the title race with Celtic dropping points last weekend, but they will face a stern test against Steven Naismith's men here.

We say: Rangers 2-1 Hearts

Despite coming into the game as big favourites, nobody is in any doubt that this will be an incredibly difficult task for Rangers against a Hearts side that have been formidable for almost three months.

However, nine wins in a row speaks volumes about how well Rangers are doing themselves of late, and that additional strength in depth may see the hosts edge this extremely intriguing encounter.

Ross County vs. Livingston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

It is a crucial match at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday as the two teams making up the relegation zone will meet.

This will act as a true 'six-pointer' as Ross County host Livingston in a game neither can afford to lose.

We say: Ross County 0-2 Livingston

Both teams desperately need three points this weekend in their bid to try and avoid relegation, and because of how much is on the line it promises to be a tight match.

However, Livingston come into this game in much stronger form despite being lower in the table, and this could be the match where they lift off the foot of the table.

St Mirren vs. St Johnstone (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two teams that need points for vastly different reasons will meet on Saturday as St Mirren play host to St Johnstone.

The Buddies are currently pushing to try and break into the Scottish Premiership top four, while the visitors are currently just outside the relegation zone.

We say: St Mirren 2-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone might have taken three points the last time these two teams met, but the opposite result is more likely this time around.

The recent form of both teams points to a St Mirren win, particularly since the hosts could push into the top four with a win here.
