Chelsea captain John Terry will be asked by UEFA to wear an anti-racism armband for the Blues' Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow.

Chelsea captain John Terry is expected to wear an anti-racism armband during the Blues' Champions League fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk tomorrow.

European governing body UEFA will issue a 'United Against Racism' armband to every skipper competing in the elite tournament this week to raise awareness for the Football Against Racism in Europe anti-discrimination body Fare.

It is understood that Terry, who was found guilty of racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand, will captain his side in Ukraine.

Terry is currently serving a four-match domestic ban and will be absent for Chelsea's league and League Cup fixtures against Manchester United as well as a trip to Swansea City.
