Sports Mole looks at how Bayern Munich could line up in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Bayern Munich will be missing Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez, Leroy Sane and Bouna Sarr for Wednesday's Champions League contest with Barcelona at Camp Nou.

As a result, head coach Julian Nagelsmann is likely to have the same squad available that was present for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim, which ended in a 2-0 win for the champions.

There might only be one change from the team that took to the field for the first whistle at the weekend, with Sadio Mane likely to be given the nod over Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting at centre-forward.

With Neuer injured, Sven Ulreich is a certainty between the sticks, while Benjamin Pavard and Alphonso Davies will feature in the full-back positions.

Dayot Upamecano should be joined by Matthijs de Ligt in the middle of the defence, while Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are set to feature in central midfield.

A 4-2-3-1 formation should also include Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry in the wide areas, with Jamal Musiala in the number 10 position.

Ryan Gravenberch and Marcel Sabitzer are also options in midfield, but Bayern might need to win to be sure of first position in Group C, and Nagelsmann is unlikely to take any chances when it comes to his starting side for this match.

Bayern Munich possible starting lineup: Ulreich; Pavard, Upamecano, De Ligt, Davies; Kimmich, Goretzka; Coman, Musiala, Gnabry; Mane
