Saturday's Serie A predictions including Sassuolo vs. Atalanta

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Sassuolo vs. Atalanta.

Cremonese vs. Lecce (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Having pulled off another cup upset in midweek, Cremonese return to Serie A duty on Saturday, when they again go in search of their first league win of the season against Lecce.

After defying the odds to book a place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, the Grigiorossi now tackle their Puglian visitors at Stadio Giovanni Zini.

We say: Cremonese 1-0 Lecce

Both sides are yet to reach 20 goals since promotion - placing them among Serie A's lowest scorers - so a close-fought tussle is in prospect. While Lecce are experiencing their first real downturn, Cremonese must be lifted by their Coppa Italia success - surely Saturday is the day their winless streak finally ends?

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Roma vs. Empoli (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Victims of a midweek cup shock, Roma seek to stay on track for a top-four finish in Serie A on Saturday, as they host in-form Empoli.

Despite exiting the Coppa Italia to Cremonese, Jose Mourinho's men remain within three points of second place heading into the weekend, while their visitors are still undefeated since the winter break.

We say: Roma 1-1 Empoli

Empoli are far from a prolific side but have been hard to beat away from home this season. With that in mind, they should prove stern opposition for top-four chasers Roma, who may have to make do with a single point on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sassuolo vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Having shocked Serie A by crushing the champions last week, Sassuolo return to action on Saturday evening, when they host top-four hopefuls Atalanta BC at the Mapei Stadium.

Halting their winless streak in spectacular style, the Neroverdi put five past Milan at San Siro, while La Dea won again in the league before making a Coppa Italia exit in midweek.

We say: Sassuolo 2-2 Atalanta BC

After re-finding their touch in the opposition area, Sassuolo go toe to toe with a potent Atalanta team full of confidence in the final third. As a result, an entertaining contest could be on the cards, with the points ultimately shared between two progressive sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
