Weather forecasts for New York show that there is a high chance of Andy Murray's US Open encounter against Milos Raonic being disrupted by rain.

Rain showers are expected to cause disruptions to Andy Murray's US Open encounter against Milos Raonic later tonight.

Forecasts show that there is a 70% chance of rain in New York.

As the Arthur Ashe Stadium does not currently have a roof, any showers would see the two players taken off court.

In a bid to speed up the evening's play at Flushing Meadows, organisers have switched the Serena Williams and Venus Williams vs. Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova doubles match to Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Murray is due to be on court around 1.30am British time.
