Delon Armitage receives his fourth suspension of 2011 for a dangerous tackle on Bath's Tom Biggs in the Aviva Premiership last month.

London Irish and England international Delon Armitage has been hit with his fourth suspension of 2011 for a dangerous tackle on Tom Biggs in the Aviva Premiership last month.

The incident happened during Irish's 12-13 defeat on October 29. The 27-year-old has been banned for five weeks by the RFU.

He was also suspended for eight weeks in January for pushing and verbally abusing an anti-doping official in a game on New Year's Day, and was then banned for another three weeks for punching Northampton's Stephen Myler in April.

In addition, Armitage was excluded for England's World Cup quarter-final against France following another dangerous tackle.

The back will next be available to play on December 9.
