London Irish were unable to secure their fourth win in five games, losing 12-13 to Bath at the Madejski Stadium this afternoon.
Fly-half Sam Vesty scored the only points of the first half, putting the away team ahead by five points after 30 minutes.
Ian McGeechan's side made a handful of substitutions after the break, but Tom Homer kicked two penalties inside the first 10 minutes to put the Exiles ahead by one.
Dave Attwood's score on the hour mark put the visitors back ahead for no more than five minutes, before Homer's third and fourth penalties of the game gave the home side the lead again.
However, Vesty's penalty in the final minutes proved to be enough to seal a Bath victory.
