Gianfranco Zola questions Watford managerial changes

Former Watford boss Gianfranco Zola believes that recent managerial changes at the club will have a negative effect on the squad.

Former Watford boss Gianfranco Zola has claimed that the club's recent managerial changes will have a negative effect on the players.

The Hornets appointed Slavisa Jokanovic as their new manager on Tuesday, just eight days after Billy McKinlay replaced Oscar Garcia in charge at Vicarage Road.

Following Jokanovic's arrival at the club, Zola believes that the squad will suffer because of a lack of stability in the coaching department.

"Obviously in the last few months there have been a lot of things going on and that doesn't help even if you have a good team, you need to have things settled," he told Sky Sports News.

"It is a good team certainly. They have very good players A few people have asked me about [my time there] but I can only speak well of it. I had a very good opportunity and good time there."

Zola took charge of Watford in July 2012 before leaving the post in December 2013.
