picking up free agent and one-time Scotland international Andy Webster, while Ipswich Town winger Cameron Stewart has joined Doncaster Rovers on
a half-season loan.

urge the youngster to stay at the club, while Vincente del Bosque
has called de Gea up to his Spain squad to face Macedonia and Slovakia in the Euro 2016 Qualifiers.

DONE DEAL! Manchester City have
parted company with one of their youngsters - Portuguese midfielder Marcos Lopes has joined Monaco on a five-year deal. Lopes only played five games for City since joining in 2011 and spent last season on loan at Lille, scoring three goals in 27 games.

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has leaped to the defence of the club's owner Ellis Short,
insisting that he understands why the businessman has been reluctant to hand over transfer funds in recent seasons. However, the Dutchman did manage to add to his squad today by bringing in Sweden international Ola Toivonen on loan.
It's been a busy day for Ipswich Town, who have now
announced that they are on the verge of signing Australian international Tommy Oar on a free transfer from FC Utrecht. It doesn't look like they'll be sticking the Oar in when they face Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday, though, as the winger is not expected to finalise his move until the weekend.
DONE DEAL! Manchester City youngster Devante Cole has
signed for Bradford City on a two-year deal. The forward, who is the son of former Manchester United star Andy Cole, could make his Bantams debut when they face Port Vale this weekend.
DONE DEAL! Danish international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has
joined Schalke 04 on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich. The midfielder, who has struggled to break into the Bayern first team, spent the second half of last term at Augsburg.
Reports suggest that another Manchester City youngster is heading out on loan, with defender Jason Denayer said to have
agreed to join Galatasaray. He spent last term at Celtic, where he was named as Scotland's Young Player of the Year for 2014-15.
DONE DEAL! Leicester City's Lithuanian youngster Simonas Stankevicius has
joined Oldham Athletic on a three-month loan. "I have seen quite a lot of League One games. It is very good quality and I cannot wait to play here," he said upon completing the move.
Over to the Championship now and there's a bit of Husband swap going on. Fernando Amorebieta has left Fulham for Middlesbrough in a move that sees James Husband move in the opposite direction. Read more

completed the capture of former Watford man Daniel Tozser on a free transfer. The deal was not finalised in time for the Hungarian to be registered for tomorrow's match at Huddersfield, so expect to see him in QPR colours a fortnight from now, after the international break.
