Report: Stoke City reject second Jonathan Walters bid from Norwich City

Stoke City reportedly turn down a second bid of £2m from Norwich City for Irish forward Jonathan Walters.

Norwich City have reportedly failed with a second bid, believed be in the region of £2m, for Stoke City forward Jonathan Walters.

The Canaries were knocked back when they made a £1.5m approach last week and their second bid has also been turned down, according to PA.

Both Walters and Stoke boss Mark Hughes are said to be keen on extending the Irishman's contract, which runs out at the end of the season, but they are yet to reach an agreement on terms.

Walters, who turns 32 next month, joined Stoke from Ipswich Town five years ago.
