Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson has admitted that the Black Cats didn't do enough to stop Queens Park Rangers from recording an away triumph at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night.
The win for the visitors was their first on the road all season, and Larsson has revealed that the squad are frustrated after failing to build on their recent run of results.
The 29-year-old is quoted by ITV Sport as saying: "You can never take anything for granted in this game and we've experienced that many times before.
"I think that the most frustrating thing is we felt like we were on the up, we felt like we were moving in the right direction.
"It's a game that we shouldn't have lost, but we did, so we can only blame ourselves. It was down to us players on the pitch and we didn't do enough."
Sunderland currently sit two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.
