Stoke midfielder Rory Delap urges his teammates not to take League Two side Crawley for granted when they meet in the FA Cup fifth round.

Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap has urged his teammates not to take League Two side Crawley Town for granted when the two teams meet in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The Potters have lost four league matches in a row and also lost the first leg of their Europa League match against Valencia 1-0 midweek, placing more emphasis on a cup competition in which they reached the final last season.

Crawley Town, meanwhile, have a recent history of giant killings and go into the game top of League Two with nothing to lose, factors which have made Delap cautious ahead of the fifth-round tie.

"We're going there and everyone will be expecting us to win but Crawley will have a lot to say about that, it's going to be a tough game again, in a different way to what it was on [Thursday] night," said the 35-year-old.

"They're towards the top of their league and full of confidence so if we turn up there thinking we'll win then we'll get battered."

Crawley find themselves in the fifth round of the FA Cup for the second successive season, having been knocked out by Manchester United at this stage last year.
