Spartak Moscow have declared themselves in the running to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko from Tottenham Hotspur.
The out-of-favour striker is likely to leave White Hart Lane next month in the search of first-team football, and Spartak manager Valery Karpin has admitted that he would welcome the frontman back to Russia.
"Pavlyuchenko is one of those players on our list of targets," the Daily Mail quotes Karpin as saying. "We consider many and he is one of them."
Premier League side Queens Park Rangers are also believed to be interested in the 29-year-old after the forward's agent confirmed that Spurs have given permission to the West London side to speak to Pavlyuchenko.
