Mauricio Pochettino wary of Michael Dawson threat

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says that former captain Michael Dawson is a "fantastic person" ahead of his return to White Hart Lane with Hull City.

Mauricio Pochettino has warned that Michael Dawson will be hoping to come away with a win when he returns to White Hart Lane this weekend.

The defender was sold to Hull City, where he has made 26 league appearances so far this season, by Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

The manager said at his pre-match press conference: "Michael is an unbelievable professional and a fantastic person. His behaviour we expect to be professional and to try to win the game and the points.

"Our motivation needs to be like them. It is always difficult to play against a team that plays for survival in the Premier League.

"They have one, maybe two chances, and this is the first for them, but, for us, we need to feel it's as important like them."

Hull are in the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Tottenham.
